Cranberry Sauce

This home-made cranberry sauce beats the canned version easily. The recipe is from the November 2011 issue of Coastal Living (original here).
Ingredients
- 1 (12-ounce) package fresh or frozen cranberries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/4 cup water
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes or until mixture is slightly thickened.
- Refrigerate to chill, if desired.
