First Headquarters in Savannah

I'm at Girl Scouts First HeadquartersThis photo shows First Headquarters, the building which served as the very first home of Girl Scouts in the United States. The building is really the carriage house for the Andrew Low House, which takes up the rest on the block.

This is where girls first met, where adult volunteers shared ideas, and where everything that drives Girl Scouts of the United States of America all began. I visited First Headquarters in May 2012, as part of the Sojourn in Savannah.

You can find more photos of our trip to Savannah on Flickr.
