Maybe you&rsquo;re back and wondering what I did today:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nWent to work.<br \/>\nAttended a meeting.<br \/>\nWrote the Ideas column for Inbox.<br \/>\nLeft work.<br \/>\nWorked on the <i>Beowulf<\/i> fun.<br \/>\nCooked dinner.<br \/>\nSet off smoke detector again (with steam?)<br \/>\nMoved smoke detector out of the kitchen.<br \/>\nFinished cooking, noting no burnt bits visible.<br \/>\nMoved smoke detector back to the kitchen.<br \/>\nWorked on <i>Beowulf<\/i> some more.<br \/>\nAte snack that was unwise, gaining 50 pounds.<br \/>\nWrote journal entry as an attempt at fame and glory.<br \/>\nNoticed failure of attempt.<br \/>\nWent to bed with Shamu.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So maybe yesterday&rsquo;s list of interesting things wasn&rsquo;t convincing.
