Students diagram plot events on a spectrum from positive to negative (as they define it for the books they&#8217;re reading). The lesson uses the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.readwritethink.org\/materials\/graphicmap\/\">Graphic Map Interactive<\/a> to publish the finished graphs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.readwritethink.org\/lessons\/lesson_view.asp?id=870\">Creating Family Timelines: Graphing Family Memories and Significant Events<\/a> asks students to interview family members and then create a graphic timeline of significant family events.
