Baked Onion Dip is the twelfth of my 25 Appetizers of Christmas.<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"ingredients\">\n<h4>Ingredients<\/h4>\n<ul class=\"ingredients\">\n<li> 1 cup mayonnaise     <\/li>\n<li>1 cup chopped sweet onion     <\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese     <\/li>\n<li>&frac14; teaspoon garlic salt     <\/li>\n<li>1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese     <\/li>\n<li>Minced fresh parsley, optional<\/li>\n<li> Assorted crackers <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<h4>Directions<\/h4>\n<ol class=\"instructions\">\n<li>Heat oven to 325&deg;F.<\/li>\n<li>In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, onion, Parmesan cheese and garlic salt; stir in Swiss cheese. <\/li>\n<li>Spoon into a 1-qt. baking dish. <\/li>\n<li>Bake, uncovered, at 325&deg; for 40 minutes or until golden brown. <\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle with parsley if desired. <\/li>\n<li>Serve with crackers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sweet onions are one of my favorite treats.
