I found the recipe five years ago in <\/em><a type=\"amzn\" asin=\"0743267222\">Paula Deen &amp; Friends: Living It Up, Southern Style<\/a><em>. I made them for the cookie exchange at work that year, and have returned to the recipe whenever I want the perfect treat. Monster Cookies are the twenty-fifth of my 25 Cookies of Christmas.<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"ingredients\">\n<h4>Ingredients<\/h4>\n<ul class=\"ingredients\">\n<li>3 eggs<\/li>\n<li>1&frac14; cups  light brown sugar, firmly packed <\/li>\n<li>1 cup granulated sugar<\/li>\n<li>&frac12; teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<li>&frac12; teaspoon vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>1 12-ounce jar creamy peanut butter<\/li>\n<li>1 stick butter, softened<\/li>\n<li>&frac12; cup M&amp;M&#8217;s<\/li>\n<li>&frac12; cup chocolate chips<\/li>\n<li>&frac14; cup raisins<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons baking soda<\/li>\n<li> 4&frac12; cups quick-cooking oatmeal (not instant)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<h4>Directions<\/h4>\n<ol class=\"instructions\">\n<li>Preheat oven to 350&deg;F.<\/li>\n<li>Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.<\/li>\n<li>Mix eggs and sugars in large mixing bowl.<\/li>\n<li>Add salt, vanilla, peanut butter, and butter. Mix   thoroughly.<\/li>\n<li>Add baking soda and oatmeal, combining well. <\/li>\n<li>Stir in M&amp;M&#8217;s, chocolate chips, and raisins. <\/li>\n<li>Drop cookies onto prepared cookie sheets.<\/li>\n<li>Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
