The materials can even be used to celebrate the first snowfall or wish someone a Happy New Year. And, of course, the same instructions work for Thank You cards too. So read on, and get ready to make some fun greeting cards! <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Make a simple card:<\/strong> Make a funny or thoughtful greeting card  with  photos of family or friends and a poem, joke, or riddle. Find simple step-by-step instructions on how to <a href=\"http:\/\/ow.ly\/bCl02\" title=\"Send a Smile: Make a Card for a Special Occasion\" target=\"_blank\">Send a Smile<\/a>! Kids and teens can illustrate scenes that show how they celebrate  with family and friends or create scenes that show what would happen if a dinosaur showed up to celebrate at their home.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Write a poem:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/ow.ly\/bCj8E\" title=\"Help a Child Write a Poem\" target=\"_blank\">Help a Child Write a Poem<\/a> for the inside of a card, or frame it for a special piece of art. Use one of our online tools to write an <a href=\"http:\/\/ow.ly\/bCjOd\" title=\"Acrostic Poem\" target=\"_blank\">Acrostic Poem<\/a>, a <a href=\"http:\/\/ow.ly\/bClu6\" title=\"Diamante Poems\" target=\"_blank\">Diamante Poem<\/a>, or a <a href=\"http:\/\/ow.ly\/bCliO\" title=\"Theme Poems\" target=\"_blank\">Theme Poem<\/a>.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Create a folded card:<\/strong> Use the <a href=\"http:\/\/ow.ly\/bCl9v\" title=\"Stapleless Book\" target=\"_blank\">Stapleless Book<\/a> to make an 8-page card for a special family member or friend&mdash;and it all fits on one sheet of paper!\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Design a  postcard:<\/strong> Write a postcard with the <a href=\"http:\/\/ow.ly\/fWV5L\" title=\"Postcard Creator\" target=\"_blank\">Postcard Creator<\/a> then print it out and illustrate the front in a&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/ow.ly\/fWVtT\" target=\"_blank\">variety of ways<\/a>, like drawing a picture, creating a collage of images, or printing and pasting clipart in place.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Publish a greeting:<\/strong> Make a nontraditional greeting card with the <a href=\"http:\/\/ow.ly\/fWW0a\" title=\"Book Cover Creator\" target=\"_blank\">Book Cover Creator<\/a>. Kids and teens can imagine what a book about a Winter day with their family would be like and create front and back cover as a greeting card.\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Compose a year-end letter:<\/strong> Help a child or teen <a href=\"http:\/\/ow.ly\/fWWJL\" title=\"Write Letters to Friends and Family\" target=\"_blank\">write a letter to friends and family<\/a> that sums up all the things they have done in 2012 with  the  <a href=\"http:\/\/ow.ly\/fWWSs\" title=\"Letter Generator\" target=\"_blank\">Letter Generator<\/a>.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Whatever you do, hope you have a fantastic December.
