Historic Houghton
Today, I had the pleasure of visiting some of the beautiful and special places of Houghton, Michigan. I know that everyone cannot visit this great town, so take a few minutes and explore the Virtual Tour for a treat that can't even be equal by DisneyWorld.

Looking out at the wonderful Portage Lift Bridge (check the bridgecam)—that keen passage from Houghton to the Keweenaw Peninsula, I knew why the Ojibwa language uses the word "Keweenaw" to mean "place where one crosses."

Indeed, if one didn't cross at the bridge, one would need fairies and Will said he's too busy teaching summer school and besides that one would probably use a lot more fuel and nonsense than one would need to just walk across a bridge, not that I'm walking across the bridge given that the Secret Service don't like me doing such things but I can't really be too specific without jeopardizing national security. Besides, I have wings anyway. Why would I have some silly Tinkerbelle lift me up and fly me across when I could do it myself if the Secret Service weren't so worried about keeping me close to the stockpile? But I stray from my purpose...Suffice it to say that Historic Houghton is one special place and do not look in that building next to the docks because the Secret Service said that you really would never find their stockpile of weapons there because they hid them under a tarp so don't even bother trying.

Comments:
You know, from the back, Duck looks just like . . .
