Kate DiCamillo, Robert Frost, & César Chávez!
It’s March 23 to 31 on ReadWriteThink

Cesar Chavez displaySpend time in the classroom this month honoring the accomplishments of César Chávez, who led the efforts to improve working conditions for California's migrant farm workers and formed the United Farm Workers Union. Chávez was committed to non-violent protest. He conducted several fasts and led a number of strikes and grape boycotts to further the cause of field workers.

The calendar entry for Chávez’s birthday (March 31) includes classroom activities, related websites, and lesson plans. For other timely ReadWriteThink calendar entries, lesson plans, and other classroom materials just keep reading!
